During a rally for the Socialist Party in the capital of Catalunya, Sanchez attacked three parties, Popular Party (PP), Ciudadanos and Vox, which have united to gain a majority in Andalucia , where Socialist have been based historically.

The Spanish president criticized the decision, arguing it only “trivializes gender violence,” and warning the parties that “in the 21st century, whoever chooses women as opponents, will indisputably lose.”
He also criticized Ciudadanos and the PP specifically for joining forces with VOX, as “embracing the arguments of the extreme right without blushing” for Sanchez only shows there has been “an ideological bankruptcy of the right wing in our country.”
